A firefighter was among three people who were injured when a fire erupted in Brownsville Saturday morning.

The fire started on the second floor of a four-story building at 82 Rockaway Parkway shortly after 1:30 a.m., firefighters say.

Two of the three victims were transported to the hospital. The third was treated at the scene.

Officials say the injuries were considered minor.

The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
