A fire that tore through a home in East New York sent six people to the hospital, officials say.
Officials say the fire broke out on the first floor of the home at 737 Georgia Ave. just after 3:30 a.m. The fire quickly spread to the second floor.
A total of 60 firefighters were at the scene and got the fire under control in less than an hour.
Officials say the six people injured only have minor injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
