Officials have identified the three people killed after a vehicle jumped a curb in Morris Park and struck a group of trick-or-treaters.
Police say 65-year-old Louis Perez was pronounced dead at the scene. Perez's 10-year-old granddaughter, Nyanna Aquil and 24-year-old Kristian Leka were taken to Jacobi Medical Center where they were pronounced dead.
Police say a 3-year-old girl, 9-year-old girl and 21-year-old woman were also injured in the crash. They are all expected to be OK.
The crash occurred near the intersection of Morris Park and Bogart avenues just before 5 p.m. Saturday.
Police say a Dodge Charger driven by a 52-year-old man hit a car and jumped onto the sidewalk.
The driver was taken to Jacobi Medical Center. No word yet on what caused the crash.
