A Brooklyn man is giving back to those in need through the Operation Footwork project.
Brent Henry was homeless for the past eight months while trying to help others facing the same issue.
Henry decided to try and make a difference by asking people to donate socks.
As he worked toward his goal of collection 2,020 socks for 2020, Henry says there is no greater joy than giving back.
Operation Footwork has surpassed its goal of gathering 2,020 socks, having collected nearly 4,000 socks for the homeless.
