Police have arrested a man and woman for the death of a 58-year-old woman over the summer.
Kyimar Thein was found dead wrapped in cloth in a closet inside her Prospect Lefferts-Gardens home on July 21 around 6:30 a.m. at her apartment at 260 Lenox Road.
Police say they were asked to check on her by a concerned friend and coworker after she didn't show up to work.
Police arrested 23-year-old Annika Cansino and Alexander Alberda Thursday, charging both with second-degree murder and kidnapping.
News 12 is told by friends that Kyimar was a nurse at SUNY Downstate Medical Center who leaves behind her children.

A former colleague of the victim and suspect told News 12 that Cansino worked at the hospital with the victim and briefly lived with Thein.
The friend says tensions between the two began after Cansino allegedly had her boyfriend move in with them.
