On the second day of school, some lucky students received new backpacks to start the year in style.The Partnership for the Advancement of Learning (PAL) dropped off 400 filled book bags for students at P.S. 108. Teachers say they're as appreciative as the students for the generous gift.PAL is a completely student-run organization, according to its website.
