The rain didn't deter hundreds from celebrating the start of the Little League season with a parade in Park Slope Saturday.
Participants marched first through Seventh Avenue in Park Slope to Prospect Park.
Mayor Bill de Blasio and other local elected officials were also present for the official opening day of Little League play in Brooklyn.
"We will look back later in life and realize what an extraordinary thing it is to play baseball on these wonderful fields," said the mayor.
