Parents of special-needs children at Brooklyn Blue Feather Elementary School say bus problems have never been worse and pose a danger to their kids.

Parents spoke to News 12 about their issues, which they say include illogical bus routes that have the kids stuck in transit for hours.

For help, the parents tried calling companies such as Reliant Transportation -- one of the many vendors contracted through the city. But parents say no one answers the phone, which held true when News 12 called.

So News 12 showed up at the company's Brooklyn headquarters in Greenpoint. A spokesperson for Reliant Transportation said that traffic congestion is often to blame.

The Department of Education says it's aware of the parents' complaints.
