People gather around local breakfast diners to try to get warm after Sunday's New Year’s Eve celebrations.

Some are warming up at the Parkview Diner in Coney Island Monday after celebrating the New Year near Madison Square Garden.

“It was very cold last night, it was under 8 degrees I think, but it was an amazing night,” says one diner patron. “It’s the holidays, New York City is amazing, it’s not going to get any better.”

A group from Colombia is also trying to get warm after last night’s celebrations with some caffeine.
