The state Department of Transportation has installed permanent signage along the Gowanus Expressway in an effort to relieve confusion.
Drivers had complained that signs were confusing, specifically at the entrance to the Belt Parkway East.
The permanent sign was originally slated to be installed at the end of the summer.
DOT officials say they're also making more overhead signs that are scheduled to be installed early next year.
