(AP) - Police say an 11-year-old girl has been shot in the chest during a domestic argument in a Brooklyn apartment, but she is expected to survive.
New York Police Department spokesman Paul Browne says a womanand her boyfriend were quarreling in the apartment Wednesdayevening when the man fired a shot through a bedroom door, hittingthe girl. Police are looking for him.
Police say the girl has been taken to Brookdale Hospital. Noupdate on her condition is immediately available from the hospital.
