Police: 2 men steal sneakers off teen's feet in brutal Fordham bodega assault

Two men are caught on video kicking and punching a 17-year-old boy as he lays on the floor of a bodega.

A teenager was assaulted inside a Bronx bodega and had his sneakers forcibly stolen off his feet, police say.
The incident happened Sunday around 3 p.m. in Fordham.
Two men are caught on video kicking and punching a 17-year-old boy as he lays on the floor of a bodega.
One of the men is then seen grabbing items and throwing them at the victim before the other man grabs the sneakers off his feet.
News 12 is told that one of the attackers then grabbed a knife and stabbed the teen in the abdomen.
Louis, an eyewitness to the attack, says he tried to stop the fight.
"They said 'move it, move it,' and they are knocking everything," Louis says. "They make big problem for us."
Some in the area says the incident reminds them of the attack on Lesandro "Junior" Guzman-Felix three years ago.
The bodega is also steps away from a school, and parents say they are feeling unsettled with the close proximity of the violence to their children.
The victim was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
Police are searching for the two suspects.
One was seen wearing a black sweater, black hat, and white sneakers. The other was wearing a black shirt.
