A 20-year-old man is in the hospital after cops say he was struck in the head during an assault in Canarsie early Thursday morning. According to police, the victim was assaulted on East 102nd Street

Police: 20-year-old struck in head during Canarsie assault
A 20-year-old man is in the hospital after cops say he was struck in the head during an assault in Canarsie early Thursday morning.
According to police, the victim was assaulted on East 102nd Street at around 5 a.m. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital and is expected to be OK.
Anyone with information on the incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
