A 24-year-old woman was shot in the right leg Tuesday afternoon in Coney Island, police say.
The incident occurred just before 4:30 p.m. at Stillwell and Mermaid avenues.
News 12 was told the victim heard a gunshot and then felt pain. She was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
No arrests have been made.
