A 78-year-old man was walking to his car at around 9:45 p.m. Thursday when officials say four young men robbed him near a 24-hour laundromat and check cashing store on Utica Avenue.
Police say the four suspects approached the man from behind, pushed him against his car and then forcefully removed his wallet before running away.
Investigators say all four suspects appeared to be between 16 and 21 years old.
The victim did not sustain any injuries during the robbery.
Anyone who might recognize any of the suspects is asked to call the NYPD.
