A woman accused of almost killing a Bronx resident in a black-market medical procedure two years ago was arrested this week after a nearly identical incident.
Padge Victoria Winslowe, also known as the ?Black Madam,? was arrested in Philadelphia following a botched procedure to enhance a woman?s buttocks that landed the recipient in the hospital. Winslowe was tracked down and arrested ahead of a ?pumping party? where she would administer illegal cosmetic injections.
Bronx resident Melissa Liseth almost died two years ago after allegedly receiving the same procedure from Winslowe.
Winslowe is being charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment, among other charges. She is being held on bail.
Authorities are trying to link Winslowe with other disastrous cosmetic procedures, including the death of a British woman.
