Police say car crashed into the front gate of a home in Crown Heights early Friday morning.

Citizen App video of the scene captured the aftermath of the impact in which the car not only knocked down a fence, but also took down a one-way sign pole and dragged it onto the front of the house.

Police say this all happened around 5 a.m., and the driver fled the scene.

The homeowner who shared photos of the damage with News 12 says he saw a young woman and man leave the scene shortly after the crash. He adds that nothing inside the home was damaged.
