Shattered glass and flower petals littered the storefront outside Deja Vu Flower Shop on Gravesend Neck Road after a car slammed into it Saturday night.
The owner says the crash caused a tremendous loss for her business.
Police say a Toyota Highlander crashed into a Jeep Grand Cherokee and then struck a parked car at East 13th Street and Gravesend Neck Road before careening into the flower store.
Rescuers transported the driver of the Toyota Highlander, a 43-year-old man, to Lutheran Hospital in serious condition with internal injuries.
The driver of the Jeep Grand Cherokee was taken to Methodist Hospital with minor injuries.
Three other people inside the Jeep, including two children, were uninjured in the crash.
Officials say no one inside the store was injured.
