Police say they discovered a suitcase full of kittens in Brooklyn.
The NYPD tweeted out a picture of several kittens they say were found inside a suitcase on March 10.
Police say they responded to a 911 animal cruelty call at 373 Wythe Ave. in Brooklyn when they found a suitcase in the parking lot.
The suitcase had seven kittens stuffed inside, according to police; one was dead and one had an injury to its ear.
The kittens were removed to ASPCA in Manhattan, they are about 1-2 weeks old.
Police believe someone threw the suitcase full of kittens over a wall where it landed inside the parking lot.
They say it is too early to put the kittens up for adoption. However, they are doing OK.
The NYPD's Animal Cruelty Investigation Unit is investigating the incident.
