Fatal Ocean Hill subway shooting part of area's rising transit crime trend
8h agoPolice say a woman has died after she was hit by a driver Thursday night in the Fordham section of the Bronx.
The 47-year-old driver was behind the wheel of a Ford Explorer traveling down the Grand Concourse at 198th Street when he allegedly slammed into the woman. Officials say the woman died at the scene.
The driver did stay at the location of the incident.
No other information has been released.
