A man was found dead floating in the Paerdegat Basin Tuesday morning in Canarsie, according to the NYPD.
Police say they were called to the Paerdegat Basin near East 80th Street and Seaview Avenue just before 11 a.m. and found a man floating in the water.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The medical examiner is working to determine his cause of death but there were no visible signs of trauma.
That man's name has not yet been released.
