Police hunt for robber targeting Bronx women

Police are on the hunt for a robber who they say is targeting women inside the elevators and stairwells of Bronx buildings. According to investigators, the first robbery happened at 1113 Grant Ave.

Police are on the hunt for a robber who they say is targeting women inside the elevators and stairwells of Bronx buildings.
According to investigators, the first robbery happened at 1113 Grant Ave. on May 25. They say the suspect struck again inside 2800 University Ave. the next day and at 1001 Jerome Ave. a week later. A fourth woman was then robbed at 1521 Sheridan Ave. on June 9.
Cops say the man showed a knife or box cutter in three of the four incidents, and made off with personal items each time, including purses and phones. He's described as being between 25-30 years old and bald with a light complexion and a tattoo on his right forearm.
