Police make arrest in fatal Soundview shooting
Police say they have made an arrest in the Soundview shooting that killed a man early Saturday morning. Osmondo Smith, 42, is accused of killing Yusef Middleton in front of his home at 1030 Boynton Ave.

Police say they have made an arrest in the Soundview shooting that killed a man early Saturday morning.
Osmondo Smith, 42, is accused of killing Yusef Middleton in front of his home at 1030 Boynton Ave. According to witnesses, Middleton was in the middle of a dispute with the alleged gunman.
Middleton was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the chest. The 30-year-old was pronounced dead on arrival.
Middleton?s family says the victim and alleged gunman knew each other for years.
Smith is now being charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
