The hunt is on for a man police say attempted to rape two women in Bay Ridge.
Investigators say a man tried to rape a woman near 94th Street and 4th Avenue on Monday.
It happened around 1:30 a.m., when the suspect is accused of approaching the 41-year-old victim and trying to sexually assault her before she got away.
They believe the man is the same suspect in another attempted rape that happened in the area last month.
The other incident happened on Aug. 31 where investigators say around 1:30 a.m. he allegedly put another 41-year-old in a chokehold and tried to sexually assault her. The incident happened near Battery Avenue and 86th Street. The victim in that case was also able to get away.
The suspect is described as having short black hair and being between 30 and 40 years of age. Police also say he has a large frame and was last seen wearing dark blue colored T-shirt and gray sweatpants.
