A man was found dead in Bushwick late Friday after an apparent shooting, police say.

Police responded to a call along the Jackie Robinson Parkway. Once they arrived, they found a 26-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the torso.

The victim was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

There are no arrests at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
