Police are looking for the gunman who fatally shot a 26-year-old man during a robbery in Kingsbridge early this morning.
According to cops, Hwang Yang was killed at around 1:30 a.m. at the corner of Cambridge Avenue and West 232nd Street, a block away from his home. They say Yang was rushed to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest and later died.
Yang's family says he was coming home from work in Manhattan at his usual time and had just gotten off the train.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and ask that anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
