Police are searching for a man wanted in connection to a robbery at a beauty salon Friday afternoon.

They say the suspect entered the salon located at 736 Nostrand Ave. after 3 p.m. They say he locked the door, displayed a firearm and demanded property.

The man then ordered everyone to go to the back of the salon, where he locked them inside and fled.

Police say he stole $230 and was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, a black hat and gray sneakers.
