A social media threat against Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School in Clinton Hill prompted officials to cancel classes for the day.
Police confirmed that a 15-year-old student made a threatening post against the school on Facebook.
Police responded to the school this morning, but they say there was no real threat to anyone's safety.
The school's president Dennis Cronin told News 12 that they take threats seriously. He said he is confident classes will resume tomorrow.
The student has not been taken into custody.
