Police: Robbery pattern suspect hits 3 Brooklyn locations, gets away with over $700
Police are probing a possible robbery pattern as they say a man has held up three different locations just blocks away from each other.
In all three of the cases the situation is similar. Officials say a man walks into a store, asks about something they sell in that store, and then whips out a gun at the register.
One of the robberies was caught on camera inside the Emotan Beauty Supply Store on Ralph Avenue.
This incident happened on Wednesday, Sept. 25 where police say the man held a gun up to the 50-year-old employee behind the counter and demanded money from the register.
Judith Usenboa has owned Emotan Beauty supply for 40 years.
"A little bit scared but it is what it is he demanded the money so I gave it to him," says Usenboa.
Just two days before at a Crown Fried Chicken, police say the same man ordered a cheeseburger before he took out his gun demanding cash.
The most recent hit was on Sept. 26 at a Metro PCS on Sutter Avenue. Officials tell News 12 the man they're looking for asked about cellphones before he did they very same thing.
No injuries were reported in any of the robberies, but in total, police say the man caught on camera got away with over $700 from those three locations combined.
