Police are searching for two people who they say stole a car in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
A man who did not want to be identified says on Feb. 29, he left his car running on Fulton Street before going into his home. The man says he went in the house because he forgot something, but then got sidetracked and didn't check on his car until the next morning.
He says when he went outside the next morning, his car was gone.
Surveillance video shows two men getting into the car before driving off.
Less than a week later, he says he found the car in East New York, but it had a boot on it, which he had to pay to get taken off.
The man says he is a Livery cab driver and he uses the car to make money so that he can take care of his family.
He is hoping police find the people who stole the car.
Police say to always turn off the car, close the windows and lock the doors to make sure no one can easily get in the vehicle.
