Police are searching for a man who they say robbed a grocery store at gunpoint over the weekend.
The suspect got away with $1,600 from the Ideal Food Basket grocery store on Lafayette Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, police say.
They also say the suspect went into the store around 6:40 p.m. Sunday, took out a gun, put it to the cashier's neck and forced him to empty the register.
The robbery was captured on the store's surveillance camera.
The suspect has not yet been identified.
