A man is under arrest after a woman was found dead inside a Bethpage home.
Police say they responded to a 911 call for an assault with a weapon at a home on Seitz Drive at around 12:30 a.m.
When officers got there, they found an unidentified woman dead.
A male suspect took off, but police followed him to Brooklyn where he crashed into a gas station.
The unidentified man was arrested and taken to the hospital.
Nassau County police confirm that several officers were injured during the pursuit. One officer suffered smoke inhalation.
