Power restored to 1,000 Gerritsen Beach residents
Power has been restored to all 1,000 Gerritsen Beach residents who woke up Saturday morning without any electricity.Con Edison officials say about 1,000 homeowners and businesses in the area lost power at about 3 a.m. Saturday.Con Edision says the cause of the outage is unknown.
