As a part of probation week, a probation harmony day took place at the John Mulally Park in High Bridge earlier today. The purpose of probation week is to educate the community about how the Department of Probation works. During the week, assistance is also given to those who need housing and jobs. In John Mulally Park today, residents had the opportunity to get their blood pressure checked and be tested for diabetes. Throughout the event, there were exercise classes free of charge, games for children, as well as drug awareness lectures. The Department of Probation will continue to host events throughout the city for the rest of the week.
