P.S. 132 parents are questioning the safety of their children following the stabbing of a 9-year-old student by a younger classmate.
The stabbing occurred yesterday just before noon in the school?s courtyard.
A Department of Education spokesperson says there is a history of fighting at the school, the most recent reported in April.
Parents say they are going to talk to school officials to see what safety measures will be put in place after this incident. Police say the stabbing is still under investigation.
