Parents from P.S. 51 confronted schools Chancellor Dennis Walcott Wednesday night over a school contamination last year.
Angry parents say students are suffering from migraines and nausea after being exposed to a toxic chemical called TCE. The children were relocated to another building after the chemical was found.
During the Panel for Educational Policy meeting, protesters demanded the Department of Education (DOE) create a health registry so that the families and doctors of kids exposed to TCE are properly notified of any side effects.
