Ahead of some expected bitter cold, Brooklyn faced rainy conditions Tuesday night.

Crowds still ventured outdoors near the Barclays Center, despite the chilly air mixed with rain showers. Plenty of hats, gloves and umbrellas were out to deal with the elements.

Some Brooklyn residents say they actually prefer the cold, and hoped for more snow.
