Rainy weather will pass through the state during the overnight hours.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Dave Curren says that the rain is not expected to impact the evening commute. He says the bulk of the rain will come sometime after midnight.
The rain is expected to last into Wednesday morning, followed by some sunshine. Wednesday will see daytime highs around 67 degrees. Overnight lows will dip to the low-50s.
Thursday will see temperatures warm into the low-70s. Curren says it will be the best day of the week. Mostly sunny skies are expected, with some clouds. Overnight lows will be around 54 degrees.
Friday is expected to be the best day for organized rain and gloomy conditions. Daytime highs are expected to be around 62 degrees with overnight lows around 53.
Curren says that there is a good chance New Jersey will see cloudy skies with on and off rain showers Saturday. Daytime highs are expected to be around 59 degrees, with overnight lows around 50.
Mother’s Day looks to be the better day of the weekend, with partly sunny skies and daytime highs around 62 degrees.
