Rainy weather put a damper on the last day that city public pools and beaches were open Sunday.

Public pools like Betsy Head Pool are normally packed with people for the last open day of the summer, but wet weather put a stop to that this year.

The city's public pools and beaches close down the weekend after Labor Day.
