Rare birds welcomed at Bronx Zoo
Workers at the Bronx Zoo are welcoming some new avian friends to their community. Zoo officials announced the arrival of three spur-winged lapwings, which is apparently the rarest bird species in any U.S. zoo. The chicks are currently located in the Bee-eater exhibit, which visitors can attend for free on Wednesdays.
