People in Brooklyn say they continue to be concerned about contracting anthrax after a man who worked in DUMBO became infected last week. City health officials believe Vado Diomande, 44, became infected while making drums from animal hides that he purchased on the Ivory Coast in December. Emergency workers continue to search the Brooklyn warehouse for anthrax. Mayor Bloomberg (R-NY) says three other people who worked with the hides are being treated with antibiotics. Diomande remains in stable condition at the Robert Packer Hospital in Pennsylvania. Related story Man treated for anthrax contracted from animal hides at BK storage space
