Residents are calling on the city to make changes to what they say is a dangerous intersection in Midwood.
They say several collisions have occurred at the corner of Ocean Avenue and Avenue J within the past couple of months. In late November, a woman died after being struck by an MTA bus along the same streets.
Residents are asking for longer lights to give pedestrians more time to cross, in addition to speed cameras and crossing guards.
News 12 reached out to the city's Department of Transportation for comment, but has not yet heard back.
