A big job fair was held in Bedford-Stuyvesant with employers looking for candidates to fill hundreds of positions in various industries.
At Restoration Plaza, the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation teamed with the city's Department of Small Business Services to work as the middle man between employers and job seekers.
"This is really connecting individuals directly with jobs that are available. So we perform screenings on behalf of the employer," said Jako Borren, of the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation.
Restoration Plaza will hold another job screening on Wednesday, March 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
