After seven years in business, a Bay Ridge bakery is closing its doors and moving south.

Robicelli's will be closing by Christmas Eve and moving into a bigger space in Baltimore, Maryland.

Owners Matt and Allison Robicelli say the move is a consequence of the changing times. They've both lived in Bay Ridge their entire lives but with rent increasing and a lot of their sales coming online, they decided to move.

The Robicellis say that although their shop is moving, their Brooklyn factory isn't going anywhere. That means customers can still order online anywhere in the tri-state area and have baked goods delivered.
