Crews have been trying to remove a large rock blocking a sidewalk that fell from a wall in West Farms.
The rock, which came from a wall on Bryant Avenue near Boston Road, is believed to have fallen years ago, but crews are just now getting around to trying to remove it.
Police have roped off the area since Friday and workers from Wave Crest Management, that owns the wall, tried to clear the rock with jackhammers, but failed. Crews will bring in bigger tools soon.
