A second emergency meeting was held regarding safety concerns after an 88-year-old woman was killed right in front of her apartment.
Dozens of tenants from the Pelham Parkway Houses attended the meeting at the local senior center Wednesday night. The NYPD held the meeting to hear residents' concerns and to bring them up to speed on the investigation.
Last night, another meeting was held on how the tenants can protect themselves.
Evelyn Shapiro was found bludgeoned to death outside of her apartment on Saturday. Police say there is a $12,000 reward for information on Shapiro's killer.
