The son of a 71-year-old Brooklyn man who has been missing for a week is asking the community for help to bring him home.
Tim Hunter’s father, Ivanho Hunter, went missing seven days ago. Tim and his friends spent their Friday posting flyers around his father’s place on New Lots and Sheffield avenues.
“I hope he's safe. We haven't heard from him. He has no history of mental health, illness or like any sorts of health problems. So, this has really caught my family and I off guard,” said Tim Hunter. “He does walk very slowly. He has like a little bit of a limp. he's always wearing like a baseball cap.”
Ivanho Hunter was last seen around 4 p.m. on April 26 on Woodruff Avenue between Parade Place and St. Paul’s Place – his boss’ place. Ivanho’s supervisor says that a store manager told him that Ivanho was not looking well.
“He insisted to them that he's OK. So I wanted to make sure that everything was okay. So I said let's go and have lunch,” said the supervisor, who says he drove Ivanho back to his place on Woodruff Avenue.
When the supervisor went back to the mall to check on him at his job, he says he wasn’t there and his call went unanswered.
Anyone with information regarding Ivanho Hunter’s whereabouts is asked to contact police.
