The act of a speeding car crashing into a truck on the corner of Coyle Street and Avenue Z in Sheepshead Bay was caught on surveillance tape Thursday.
Video footage shows the speeding car slamming into a flatbed pickup truck. Marco Palcios witnessed the accident and said that the crash was, ?like an explosion, pieces flying everywhere.?
Crews had to cut the roof of the car open to rescue the driver who suffered a broken leg.
The car ended up on a football field, just an hour before over 100 kids were scheduled to practice.
