A Spring Valley man has been convicted on child sex abuse charges.
A Rockland jury convicted 32-year-old Holger Chuya-Andrade of predatory sexual assault against a child and course of sexual conduct against a child.
The Rockland District Attorney's Office says he sexually abused a relative from when the victim was 7 years old until she was 10.
He faces a maximum sentence of life in prison when he is sentenced in November.
