A new wing at Saint Barnabas Hospital has opened to assist Bronx residents suffering from several diseases, including forms of cancer and multiple sclerosis. The Infusion Center treats patients in need of intravenous medication and can accommodate up to 30 patients each day. Hospital officials say they also offer less conventional treatments, accessible across the street at the old healing center. The new location can host twice as many patients as the original facility and features a pharmacy and lab.
